About Us:

360 Grill and Lounge is a vibrant entertainment venue seeking an energetic and charismatic Afrobeats Hypeman to join our team. As an Afrobeats Hypeman, you will be responsible for creating an electrifying atmosphere, engaging with the audience, and promoting our Afrobeats events.

Job Responsibilities:

- Energize the crowd with infectious enthusiasm, charisma, and stage presence.

- Host Afrobeats events, including introducing DJs, performers, and special guests.

- Interact with the audience, encouraging participation, and creating a lively atmosphere.

- Collaborate with DJs and performers to ensure seamless transitions and maximum energy.

- Promote 360 Grill and Lounge's Afrobeats events through social media and in-person interactions.

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Afrobeats music, culture, and trends.

- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience for patrons.

Physical Demands:

- Must have the stamina to move around constantly while music is playing during our weekend nights.

- Ability to withstand loud music and crowded environments.

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a hypeman or emcee, preferably in an Afrobeats or entertainment setting.

- In-depth knowledge of Afrobeats music, artists, and culture.

- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think on your feet, and adapt to changing situations.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and special events.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with the local Afrobeats scene and community.

- Social media presence and ability to promote events online.

- Basic understanding of sound and audio equipment.

Retainership Details:

- The successful candidate will be offered a retainer fee for a minimum of 6 months.

- The retainer fee will be paid bi-weekly.

- The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 2 weekend nights per week.
